Maddie Bourgeois is a Los Angeles-based actor and singer, born with "dancing eyes" (aka Nystagmus) and raised in North Tustin, California.

 

At the tender age of three she saw Les Miserables on the West End, and according to her parents, “the rest was history”. Through her work on and off stage, Maddie gravitates towards pieces highlighting queer women and different facets of the queer experience, and hopes to be a part of projects noting the lives of historical (yet often underwritten) women, such as Emily Dickinson, Colette Villars, and Virginia Woolf.

When she is not on stage, Maddie loves thrifting, hunting down the supreme iced chai (Tru Bru's is #1!), seeing artists such as Phoebe Bridgers at the Greek, and spoiling her quarantine cat, Bean.

Maddie will graduate from Chapman University in the spring of 2023 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and a minor in Musical Theatre. She is currently non-union and does not have representation.
